Foreign Minister Tahsin Erturuloglu said that Taksim Ground, which is located in the United Nations controlled zone, would be used by Cetinkaya Turkish Football Club.
Ertugruloglu described Colin Steward, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General to Cyprus, as taking a good approach to the situation when discussing recent developments involving Taksim ground to state television BRT.
Nevertheless Ertuğruloğlu, stated that unaccepted reactions to insignificant issues prolonged the completion of procedures.
He stated that they could not have yet agreed on the height of the south-facing fences, which they requested to be at least 6 metres high
He emphasised that although the land belonged to the club, it had been given to the Automobile Club for international rally competitions, and its reinstatement had proven to be difficult.
