Wearing masks in Health institutions is still required

The Higher Committee for Infectious Disease has announced new covid-19 measures.

Figures for this week’s tests and positive cases have lowered the category of the virus to yellow.

Individuals with upper respiratory complaints should wear masks in all areas (open or closed).

Wearing masks in health institutions and on public transportation is also mandatory. The mandatory decision to wear masks in closed spaces has changed to a recommendation.

In line with measures in the education sector students, school bus drivers and student supervisors are required to wear masks on buses.

It is recommended that masks are worn in classrooms and all other closed areas (teacher rooms, etc.). It is necessary to comply with the ventilation and disinfection rules of classrooms and all other closed areas at schools.

The Ministry of Health will create a screening program and conduct random screening tests at schools.

Those with upper respiratory complaints will not be allowed in schools. These individuals will be required to have a test carried out.
