TC leader Tatar “We will continue our struggle”

TC leader Ersin Tatar evaluated the TRNC’s acceptance as an observer member of the Organization of Turkic States, “We will swiftly continue our honorable struggle further with the encouragement from this positive development” he said.
According to information received from the Presidency, TC leader Ersin Tatar’s statement is as follows:
“The participation of the TRNC in another international organization is of particular importance. Since the day I was elected, I had put forward a vision that we would save my people, who have been subjected to inhumane isolation for more than half a century and deprived of their sovereignty and international status, from this persecution”
“This struggle has gained momentum and continues successfully with a new international membership status following the call by President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the 77th UN General Assembly last September, for the official recognition of the TRNC,” Tatar noted.

Ertuğruloğlu: “Today is a historic day for the TRNC!”
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu who also issued a statement said, “Four days ahead of the 39th anniversary of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), I greet with enthusiasm and pride the acceptance of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as an observer member of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which is a rising power day by day.”
Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu announced the admission of the TRNC as an observer member of the Organization of Turkic States and emphasized that today is a historic day for the TRNC.
