The Turkish Central Bank has announced predictions of the inflation and dollar for the end of the year.
Accordingly, inflation is expected to be 64.59 % by the end of the year. The dollar exchange rate against the Turkish Lira (TL) is predicted to increase from 17, 57 TL to 18.89 TL.
The Republic of Türkiye Central Bank (TCMB) announced the results of the ‘Survey of Market Participants’. Inflation expectations for the end of the year are 64, 59%. For the next 12 months, the Consumer Inflation Index is predicted to be 37, 91%.
The latest inflation expectation for the end of the year was 57, 92%, and 33, 28% for the next 12 months.
TC Central Bank’s expectations of Dollar
The end of the year report predicted 17,57TL against the Dollar but this increased to 18,89TL against the Dollar.
Expectations for the next 12 months increased from 18,47TL to 20,70TL.
