The Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has announced that power cuts will be experienced in some areas of Girne today due to project work being carried out on the medium voltage electricity network.
It reports that a 5-hour power cut will be experienced in the İNS military unit, Özhan, Hisarköy, Şirinevler, Kılıçarslan, Akçiçek, Selvili Tepe, Göçeri, Dağyolu, Kozanköy and Alemdağ between 9.30 am – 2 pm.
It also reports that power will be interrupted between 9 am – 1 pm today at the Armacon complex and surrounding areas, the south and the centre of the village of Ozanköy, Beylerbeyi and its surroundings, Beylerbeyi water pumps site, Signal section and surroundings, ESK and nearby areas and the Ozanköy graveyard area.
