Cyprus Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) announced that power cuts will be experienced in some areas today.
A 6-hour power cut will be experienced today at complex14 area located between the Ötüken roundabout and the entrance of Ötüken.
KIB-TEK reports that power cuts will be effective in the above-mentioned areas between 9 am and 3:30 pm today due to project work being carried out on the medium voltage electricity network.
The public has been warned to be cautious and act as if there is electricity at all times, as the flow of electricity may be delivered earlier or later than the specified time depending on the course of the work.
Meanwhile, a 3-hour power cut will also be experienced in some areas of Girne today. The power cuts will be effective between the hours of 9 am and 12 pm due to project work being carried out on the medium voltage electricity network, Kib Tek announced.
Among the areas to be affected by the power cuts are Karmi (Karaman), Karaman water pump facility, Civil Aviation and Radar Military Facilities, west of Edremit (mountain part), Meriç Erülkü Complex, GAU Boys’ Dormitory, Edremit Village, Karmi Casino and Hideaway Club Hotel area and Edremit roundabout.
