The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority, (KIB-TEK) announced that a power cut will be experienced in Lefkoşa and Güzelyurt today. The 7-hour power cut will be effective from around 9 am to 4 pm, in Lefkoşa due to work being carried out on the medium voltage electricity network.
The areas to be affected are the Hamitköy mosque and its surroundings, Hamitköy Ağıllar road, a section of rural land in the area, and the Balyo hill areas.
Meanwhile, some areas in Güzelyurt will also be affected by power cuts due to the replacement of damaged electric poles.
The (KIB-TEK) Güzelyrut District Office has announced that electricity will be affected at Akçay Nar street, Avcılar road, and the wedding hall and its surroundings from 9 am to 1 pm.
