A delegation from the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry (KTSO) is set to meet with potential buyers in London.
The London Trade Delegation consists of 14 companies from various sectors, and will hold face-to-face meetings with companies as well as evaluate export possibilities to the UK.
The Trade Delegation of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry which consists of export oriented companies will be at the Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington in London on Thursday, the 9th of June for the first time.
14 companies from the food, informatics, furniture, construction, industrial kitchen and textile sectors will take part at the delegation.
According to a statement released by the KTSO, the President of the Chamber Ali Kamacıoğlu declared 2022 as the “Export Year” and that the London Trade Delegation’s visit will be the first and the biggest event to be held within this framework.
“While the existence of more than 300,000 Turkish Cypriots in the United Kingdom makes our bonds stronger, the time has come to unite this in a social and economic body. As the chamber we are taking the first step towards achieving this goal,” Kamacıoğlu said.
Reminding that there was a large Turkish Cypriot community residing in the UK who would be happy to see products from Cyprus in the UK market, he said they will be pleased to see businesspeople from London at the events to be organized by the London Trade Delegation.
