Evkaf says “Goodness Diaries” project attracts interest at UNESCO meeting

The Evkaf religious foundation said the “Goodness Diaries” project, launched by Evkaf in 2015 with the motto “Compete in Goodness” is being used by international countries.

In a written statement on Monday, Evkaf said the “Goodness Diaries” project, which gives children diaries to write down the goodness they do every day and encourages them to “do good” without any expectations, has recently been published in four different foreign languages, including Italian, Spanish, French and Russian along with Turkish and English.

“Diaries were presented to the representatives of countries during an event in Mexico, recently organized by the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts (CIOFF), an official partner of UNESCO,” the statement noted.

Evkaf continued: “At the meeting in Mexico, the representatives of various countries expressed their intentions to implement the project in their own countries. The representatives of some 19 countries said they would translate the project into their own mother languages.”

“The Foundation is proud of instilling the culture of goodness in the children,” the statement added, noting that “Goodness Diaries are regularly being distributed to schools as well as sent to other countries via international channels.”
