“Efforts to contact the student group and parents group in Adıyaman are continuing”

The Council of Ministers that convened following the devastating earthquake that affected 10 provinces in Türkiye has come to be completed. Flights and ships have been dispatched for the transportation of both the search and rescue teams and the families of students in Türkiye.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said that they have received news from the student-athlete groups in Kahramanmaraş and Düzce and that they are well. He also announced that search and rescue efforts continue for the search of Gazimağusa Turk Maarif College volleyball group in Adıyaman.
Following the completion of the Council of Ministers meeting, Üstel said, “We will stand by our people and our nation wherever needed.”
Prime Minister Üstel stated that they are in constant contact with Adıyaman Governorate, AFAD, and TR Ministry of Interior and that the ambassador and consuls in the region went to Adıyaman, “We hope to hear from our children as soon as possible, and are waiting for good news.
May God be with our children, our families, and our nation. Accurate data on the developments concerning our children will be shared regularly through the Prime Ministry. To prevent misinformation, do not give credibility to news from unofficial sources,” he said.
