The second anniversary of the gradual public section opening of the fenced-off city of Maraş (Varosha) tomorrow will be celebrated with some events.
Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar will be participating in the event which will be held at the entrance of the Security Forces Command, Maraş gate in line with the occasion of the second anniversary of the gradual opening of the public section of Closed Maraş by the Gazimağusa Municipality.
According to the information by the TAK newsagency Özgür Gezmiş, Head of Gazimağusa Municipality Famagusta Development Academy (MGA) and Head of Maraş Unit of the municipality, TC leader Ersin Tatar will present a small gift to the first person visiting Maraş tommorrow at noon. Flowers will also be distributed to some visitors by the Mayor of Gazimağusa İsmail Arter. The municipal band will be performing at the event.
