Cyprus Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) Gazimağusa regional office, announced that power cuts will be experienced in some areas today due to maintenance and work being carried out at the Yeniboğaziçi transformer Centre.
In a written statement, KIB-TEK said that power will be interrupted in the following areas between the hours of 09:00-16:00:
Iskele, Ötüken, Aygün,ve Kuzucuk, Yeni Boğaziçi village, the old Tuzla village road, and the karting area at the entrance of Tuzla, sites and facilities between the Tuzla and the Mutluyka junction at the old Lefkoşa road, the area around the Halil Hamza Petrol and Leather factory, Mormenekşe, Mormenekşe barns, Yeniboğaziçi Industrial site, an area in the Yeniboğaziçi village, Mutluyaka, Korkuteli, Aliminum factory in Dörtyolu, Muratağa, Sandallar, Atlılar, Alaniçi barns, the entrance of Yıldırım and the Mormenekşe water wells zone.
The statement called on the public to be cautious and act as if there is electricity during the specified time.
