The work of a Turkish Cypriot writer, for the first time ever, has been published on Storytel website (audiobook) following joint initiatives by Telsim and the Cyprus Turkish Artists and Writers Association, it has been announced.
In line with the creation of the audiobook project, the Cyprus Turkish Artists and Writers Association announced that those with visual disabilities will now have the opportunity of listening to the work of Turkish Cypriot writers.
As part of the project, the book ‘Kök Nal’ by Hikmet Afif Mapolar has been downloaded and sound recorded by actor Osman Alkaş.
Furthermore, the book ‘Yusufçuklar oldu mu?’ will also be sound recorded by Ismail Bozkurt and the book ‘Şahmaran’ will be sound recorded by Telsim Deputy General Manager Fevzi Tanpınar and will be available on Storytel in the days ahead.
