Two people were arrested for the possession of illegal drugs following a police operation carried out in Küçük Kaymaklı at around 6 pm yesterday by the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention team.
According to a police report, the individual was searched following suspicious movements at 6 pm yesterday evening on the Dere Viran Street in Küçük Kaymaklı. 17 grams of methamphetamine (meth) was detected on the individual and 1.5 grams of meth was detected and confiscated from his residence for further inquiries.
According to information from the police, the person in question and another person believed to be related to the incident were arrested.
An investigation is ongoing.
