A man who was sitting at the rear (boot) of a parked van, at a workplace in Hamitköy today was seriously injured when the trunk door let loose onto him.
Police report that the injured man, Rao Adnan Saleem is being monitored at the intensive care unit following treatment at the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkoşa.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
