Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) announced today that there will be power cuts in some regions.
A 6-hour power cut is expected in some areas in Lapta today due to work being carried out on the medium voltage electricity network.
According to a statement made by the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority the Lapta Coastal Walkway, Santa Fe Site, Açelya Street and Cennetkuşu Street areas will be affected by power cuts between 9 am and 3 pm.
It has been announced that 3-hour power cuts will be experienced at the water engines area of Yukarı Cengizköy, Yeşilyurt and the region, the water engines area in Doğancı and its surrounding region, the facility plant and water engines area of Taşpınar and Fikri Orakçıoğlu Grove and its surroundings.
According to KIB-TEK power cuts are expected to be between 10 am and 1 pm.
