Two people were arrested for the possession of illegal drugs in Girne, yesterday.
According to a police report, following a police search at the two people’s residence, six flower pots with roots believed to be cannabis, and around 20 grams of drugs also said to be cannabis were detected by the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team.
The drugs were confiscated and the two were arrested.
An investigation continues.
