Stunning displays of the Northern Lights have been dazzling Swedish skies for the past couple of days.
A significant part of Sweden lies within an area where solar particles collide with gases in the Earth’s atmosphere, creating spectacular colourful streaks of light called the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis.
The phenomenon is relatively rare in the southern parts of the country, hence many were able to capture the magical light on camera and shared them on social media.
