Masks must be worn in Ercan Airport building

It has become compulsory for all passengers arriving or departing from Ercan Airport to wear a mask in the terminal building.
Following a rise in Covid 19 cases, new measures have been announced by the Health Ministry in North Cyprus in line with the decisions taken by the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases that masks are required in all closed areas.
T&T Airport Operations issued instructions by the General Directorate of the Civil Aviation Department under the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation that it has become obligatory for arriving or departing passengers to wear masks within the terminal building of Ercan Airport.
We call on all passengers, for their health, the health of their loved ones and for the respect of other passengers, to wear masks and maintain social distancing in closed areas of the airport.
Passengers that do not abide by the mask rule will be refused entry to the terminal building. All passengers and personnel or staff must wear face masks in the terminal building.
Meanwhile, according to the decision by the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases regardless of whether individuals are vaccinated or unvaccinated, they will be able to enter North Cyprus without the need to carry out a COVID-19 test.
