Lefkoşa Marathon will be held on Sunday October 23rd

5,800 people have registered so far to take part in the Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality (LTB) Lefkoşa Marathon to be held on Sunday, October 23rd.

The starting time of the Lefkoşa Marathon races to be held in three categories has been clarified according to information provided by LTB and organized in cooperation with the TRNC Athletics Federation.

All categories will be held on Sunday, October 23rd.
The 10-kilometre race will start at 7.30 am
The 21-kilometre race will start at 7:45 am
The 4-kilometre public run will start at 10.30 am

Prizes will be handed out to the winners of the Lefkoşa Marathon at an award ceremony on the same day at 7 pm at the Büyük Han, in Lefkoşa.

Registration places and dates are as follows:

Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality building (LTB) front entrance:

8.30 am -5 pm on weekdays and between 9 pm-1 pm every Saturday until Sunday, October 23rd.
The registration deadline for the 10 km and 21 km race is Friday, October 21 at 5 pm. Those wanting to participate in the 4 km run will be able to register until Sunday, October 23rd between 7.30 am -9.30 am.

Participants between the ages of 16-18 who want to participate in the 10-kilometre race must bring an athlete’s license or a permit from their families or a doctor’s report.
Anyone aged 18 or over can register for the 21-kilometre race.

All funds collected from the Lefkoşa Marathon this year will be used for the new Life Center (Yaşam Merkezi), in line with expanding the years of services provided by the Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality according to the needs of the elderly in the capital under one roof.
