Hikmet Uluçam’s “8th Cyclamen+” garden exhibition opens this Saturday

Lapta artist, graphic designer and teacher Hikmet Uluçam will open the gate of his wildflower garden to visitors on Saturday.

The garden exhibition, “8th Cyclamen+”, will showcase different types of cacti, endemic wild orchids and trees— the results of over 30 years of labour.

This year’s “Cyclamen+” garden exhibition will be opened in memory of his sister Sergüzan Tamsel and his brother Hüseyin Uluçam, who both recently passed away.

Hikmet Uluçam also remembers those who lost their lives in the devastating earthquakes that struck southeastern Türkiye on February 6, saying, “We haven’t forgotten and will not forget the Champion Angles and our other citizens, who have lost their lives in the earthquake disaster.”

The garden display is open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Mondays, Thursdays, and April 1.

The exhibition will be open until Sunday, April 9. Uluçam’s garden is at 64 İsmail Beyoğlu Caddesi, Lapta.
