GDP increase by 3.9 percent

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 3.9 percent in the year ending 2021 in North Cyprus.

According to the Department of Statistics, the value of all goods and services sold in the country rose by 3.9 percent to 30.143 million TL.

The GDP per capita was 11 thousand 129 USD, according to the report.

The communication and transportation sectors saw the greatest increase in GDP, increasing by 32 percent, followed by construction and industry, which increased by 23 percent and 16 percent, respectively.
