The Fire Fighting Department warned against any types of fire being lit even if it is for clearing up purposes between May 1st and October 31st as fires can go beyond control and cause bigger fires.
The General Directorate of the Fire Fighting Department in a written statement pointed out that cigarette stubs should not be thrown out of vehicles while travelling and warned the public to take extra care that cigarette stubs are completely extinguished before throwing into waste bins and also refrain from throwing cigarette ends on any kind of flammable substance or material.
