Ercan Airport served 356 flights and 48 thousand 430 passengers during the Bayram holiday (Eid al-Adha).
According to a statement by T&T Airport Operations, Ercan Airport was very busy during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
Ercan Airport served a total of 48 thousand 430 passengers arriving and departing between the 8th and 12th July 2022.
356 flights arrived or departed from Ercan during the same dates.
The 8th of July was the busiest day at Ercan Aiport during the Bayram period with 5,645 arriving passengers and 5,820 departing passenger.
T&T Ercan Airport Operations General Manager Serhat Özçelik said that Ercan Airport is always busy during special days and holidays, but stated that due to precautions being taken in advance no problems were experienced. Özçelik also thanked all institutions, establishments and employees who served at Ercan Airport during the Bayram holiday.
Özçelik noted that 24 thousand 510 passengers arrived and 23 thousand 920 passengers departed from Ercan Airport between July 8th and 12th, 2022.
