Ercan Airport will serve 304 flights and thousands of passengers, excluding private planes that will enter and depart before and after the New Year it has been announced.
In a statement by the T&T Airport Management, it is reported that Ercan Airport will host 304 aircraft between 29 December 2022 and 2 January 2023.
Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, and Anadolujet Airlines which will be flying to Ercan Airport have added additional flights adding that special charter flights will also be carried out due to the New Year, the statement said.
Ercan Airport will experience busy airway traffic on 30th December.
On December 30th, a total of 84 aircraft will be flying, 44 arrivals and 40 departures. A total of 61 aircraft, 29 arrivals, and 32 departures on the first day of the New Year. Three planes of passengers are set to depart from Ercan airport.
On Thursday, December 29th, 32 planes will land at Ercan Airport, and 32 planes will depart from the airport. 44 planes will arrive at Ercan on Friday, December 30th, in total 84 flights will take place. 4 planes will depart the next day.
44 aircraft will serve on December 31st, the last day of the year.
On 1st January 2023, the first day of the New Year, 61 flights will take place (29 arrivals, 32 departures). 3 planes will stay at the airport. On Tuesday, January 2nd, a total of 51 flights, (26 arriving and 25 departing from Ercan Airport), will take place. 1 aircraft will stay at the airport and depart the next day, picking up its passengers.
