Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in a statement on Monday said that they will not be increasing interest rates; on the contrary, they will continue to work for a decrease in the interest rates. “There are believers who attempt to relate the whole world on interest, inflation and exchange rates instead of trying to understand the strategic growth through investment, employment, production, export, and current surplus”, Erdoğan is cited as saying.
