Twenty-three year old Cypriot law student Kyprianos Papaioannou was identified as the first Cypriot fatality in the deadly train crash in Tempi, northern Greece that has claimed the lives of 57 people.
According to the Greek Cypriot Ambassador in Athens, Kyriakos Kenevezos, the body of 23-year-old Kyprianos Papaioannou was identified on Thursday evening through DNA.
Another Cypriot, 24-year-old dentistry graduate Anastasia Adamidou from Paphos remains missing.
DNA results were said to be expected regarding the fate of the young woman, a dentistry graduate who is now feared dead days after the crash.
