Internal Diseases Specialist Dr Sibel Siber drew attention to the increase and symptoms of Covid-19 cases.
Siber issued a statement on her social media account:
“Unfortunately, the covid virus is making its way into every home. It is highly contagious and therefore is spreading quickly. We have reached the highest number of daily cases since the beginning of the pandemic. This is the first time we are faced with so many positive cases. We are receiving many calls. Suffering from a sore throat is one of the variants’ most important symptoms. Almost all cases are suffering from a sore throat and fever. If you have a sore throat, do not take it lightly thinking it is a cold, you must isolate yourself. Test results may not show positive for the first day or two. Even if wearing masks is not compulsory in closed spaces, please WEAR YOUR MASK for your health!”
