The Meteorology Department has reported that Esentepe was affected the most by rain at 47 kg per square metre from 8 am Monday to 8 am today.
The distribution of precipitation by regions in the last 24 hours according to the met office is as follows.
Esentepe 47kg/m2, Beylerbeyi 30 kg/m2, Zafer Burnu 27 kg/m2, Alayköy, Karaoğlanoğlu 20 kg/m2, Kozanköy 19 kg/m2, Türkeli 18 kg/m2, Selvilitepe, Alsancak 17 kg/m2, Girne and Gazimağusa 15 kg/m2.
0.1 and 14 kg/m2 of rain were recorded in other areas.
