The Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu announced yesterday that 98 and 95-octane unleaded petrol will be reduced by 1.33TL a litre as of a minute past midnight last night.
Responding to the Turkish News Agency (TAK) questions, Amcaoğlu reassured that they were following the world Brent petrol prices closely adding that 98 and 95-octane unleaded petrol prices would also be reduced due to the fall in Brent Crude prices.
Stating that there will be no change in the price of Euro Diesel, Minister Amcaoğlu said that the price increase in Euro Diesel has negatively been reflected on the economy and that it will not easily decline. Although a 2TL increase was implemented on Euro Diesel prices, it has been decided not to reflect this on to the public adding that the decrease in 95 and 98 is believed to maintain a balance.
Prices are as follows:
95 Octane unleaded petrol 20.75TL a litre
98 Octane unleaded petrol 21.06TL a litre
Euro Diesel 25.70TL a litre
Gasoline oil 25.43TL a litre
