A person was arrested last night by police on patrol in Kumyalı for causing a fire with a cigarette butt.
According to police, the person in question was arrested for negligence and carelessness in causing the fire at a one square meter area of the Hasan Arıburnu Anı forest, in Kumyalı.
The police immediately extinguished the fire and an investigation is continuing.
