Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar met with UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Rosemary DiCarlo.
Issuing a statement to the press following the meeting, Di Carlo said that she and Tatar discussed the working and strengthening of technical committees on many issues.
DiCarlo evaluated her meeting: “We had a good meeting with Tatar”.
Noting that she conveyed her deep and sincere condolences to Tatar for those who lost their lives in the earthquake that took place in Türkiye. DiCarlo said that the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres conveyed his commitment and determination to make progress on the Cyprus issue.
