A tender has been launched, for the restoration of the sections damaged in a fire on March 3rd, 2021, for the St. Hilarion Castle one of the most important historical and touristic castles in Cyprus.
The Central Tender Commission announced that those submitting their bids for the tender must have a class certificate of I, II or III and that the deadline is Wednesday, September 14th at 10 am.
The total estimate reserved for the tender is 1 million 954 thousand 847.14 TL excluding VAT. Information and specifications can be obtained from the Directorate of Antiquities and Museums until September 2nd at 2 pm with a receipt of 1950TL + VAT from the Tax Office.
A section used as a cafeteria in the centre of the historical St Hilarion Castle located in the Beşparmak Mountains within the borders of the Girne district was severely damaged following a lightening related fire on March 3rd last year.
