‘41 Women, 41 Lives’ exhibition opened at Ercan Airport

The ‘41 Women, 41 lives’ exhibition of our women and their role in society opened at Ercan Airport.


The exhibition consisting of 123 photographs, held in cooperation with the Cyprus Women’s Stories Association (KÖDER) and T&T Airport Management, will be open at Ercan Airport until the end of the month.


According to a statement, volume II of the exhibition will also be held at Ercan.
KÖDER Chair Şenay Ekingen noted that the exhibition held at Ercan Airport appealed to many people. Ekingen thanked T&T Airport Management and stated that the photograph of 41 women built a bridge between the past and the future, and introduced memories to the present.
T&T Airport Management General Manager M. Serhat Özçelik noted that Ercan Airport has hosted many artists and works since its takeover.
Stating the great importance attached to art and artists, Özçelik said that exhibitions were also on display at the airport for special days.
