According to the Meteorology Department, under the influence of a low-pressure system, today is expected to be cool and humid. Weather is expected to remain around seasonal norms and winds will be southerly and westerly moderate. It will be cloudy becoming partly cloudy later in the day.
Downpours are predicted for some areas in Karpaz.
Temperatures will be around 26-32 degrees inland and on the coast. And the capital Lefkoşa is expected to be around 32 degrees Celsius.
FOREST FIRE RİSK IS HIGH.
The met office forecasts northerly and westerly moderate winds of 20-28 km an hour, warning of the risk of forest fires.
