The Meteorology Department reports that today’s weather will be under the influence of a low-pressure system and cool and humid air mass.
Temperatures are expected to be around 5-6 degrees below seasonal norms, and winds will be northerly and westerly moderate becoming stronger and stormy at times.
It is expected to be partly cloudy today, with occasional showers. Rain and sleet are expected in the mountainous areas in the afternoon hours.
The highest temperature will generally be around 8-12 degrees inland and on the coast. Temperatures in the capital Lefkoşa will be around 12 degrees.
