A vehicle over turned in a traffic accident on the Lefkoşa-Güzelyurt main road this morning.
According to the information by the Police, no injuries were reported but a dog died in the accident.
The incident took place at around 10.30 am on the Güzelyurt-Lefkoşa main road, when vehicle plate number PV 233 driven by Sabriye Özen Sayım (K-33) hit a stray dog that jumped in the middle of the road.
Sayim crashed into a concrete wall on the left of the road after hitting the dog, then hit the centre barrier before coming to a standstill.
A police investigation into the incident continues.
