Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu said his statements regarding his visit to Ankara were misinterpreted .
Ataoğlu pointed to the importance of sharing accurate information regarding his contacts in Ankara. Stating that some circles and media outlets were distorting information regarding his visit to Ankara, Ataoğlu said that he found it necessary to make a statement on the misinterpreted news that has also become a subject of criticism on social media.
“The statements I made on a television program on BRT, were wrongly interpreted to the public and criticized on social media. I felt it necessary to enlighten the public as the wrong impression was put forward regarding the approach of Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Fuat Oktay”
