The North Cyprus Foreign Affairs Ministry evaluated statements issued by the Foreign Ministry in South Cyprus regarding Nigerian students studying in North Cyprus. In its statement on Nigerian students studying in North Cyprus, the Foreign Ministry in South Cyprus is attempting to slander North Cyprus and Turkiye. The North Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs blamed the South Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs for all of the failed negotiation processes to date. It said that the South has a mission of preventing the economic development of the Turkish Cypriots and is always conducting efforts of undermining the success of the higher education system in North Cyprus.
