The 2022-2023 Motor Vehicle M.O.T (Ministry of Transport) inspection list was approved and published following the approval of the Minister of Public Works and Transport and Motor Vehicle Registrar Erhan Arıklı. The ministry noted that the list reveals the dates on which the M.O.T of all vehicles registered in the TRNC should be finalized according to their license plates. A includes the inspection dates of heavy vehicles, industrial machinery, taxi, minibus and buses. D includes the inspection dates of saloon vehicles, motorcycles, hybrid and electric motors. B includes inspection dates of trailers. C includes inspection dates of temporarily registered motor vehicles. E includes inspection dates of training vehicles of driver schools. F includes inspection dates of rally vehicles. G includes inspection dates of agricultural vehicles. The M.O.T amount should be deposited and the exhaust emission test should be carried out before going for the M.O.T inspection. The Ministry pointed out that vehicle owners should pay the inspection fee and have the exhaust emission test (except for electric vehicles) before going for the inspection. Furthermore, it was stated that the inspection fee can be paid online with a credit card at the Vehicle Registration, Inspection and Licensing Branch or via the website www.bub.gov.ct.tr.
