Two people aged 27 and 28 were arrested for the possession of drugs in Gazimağusa yesterday at around 8 pm following a police raid by the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team.
According to a police report, 51 pills believed to be MDMA (Ecstasy) type drug, approximately 250 milligrams of drugs in powder form believed to be MDMA, a cannabis-type drug weighing approximately 3 grams, and a grinder believed to contain cannabis-type drug deposits were detected and taken as evidence.
The individuals in question have been arrested, it has been reported.
An investigation is ongoing.
