The Lefkoşa District Office has issued a public warning regarding unexploded bullets that have been detected in the Beyköy Heavy Weapon Shooting Range. The warning states that following a shooting exercise carried out between 21-23 February, unexploded bullets could not be found despite all efforts.
Members of the public have been warned that if they come across any unexploded bullets to be cautious and refrain from touching or approaching them, the district office reports.
Any suspicious objects, such as bullets, must immediately be reported for them to be safely destroyed.
It was reported that the warning will be repeated every 15 days until all bullets have been found.
