TC leader Ersin Tatar received the visiting Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and his accompanying delegation.
Pointing to the value of the promotional activities from the Republic of Türkiye the TC leader Tatar emphasized the importance of the Republic of Türkiye allocating so much effort with its opportunities, time and resources for the culture and tourism sector of North Cyprus.
Noting that tourism will further develop in North Cyprus with the further development of the new Ercan Airport, Tatar stated that the increase in the number of students coming from the Republic of Türkiye this year is a source of morale and inspiration.
For his part, the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy referred to the importance of North Cyprus for the Republic of Türkiye.
Stating that the Republic of Türkiye will always take the necessary steps to meet the needs of North Cyprus and to increase its economy and social life to a higher level, Ersoy stated that the Cyprus campaign to be launched in 2023 will be a top priority for the Republic of Türkiye in terms air traffic, tourism and promotion.
