Greek Cypriot Leader Nicos Anastasiades, 76, has been diagnosed Covid-19 positive, an official announcement said on Tuesday.
“Following prevailing medical protocols, he is obliged to refrain from all duties for the next few days, and he expresses deep regret over it,” the announcement also said.
Anastasiades has mild symptoms and he is in a very good state of health, it added.
