“The new minimum wage has been determined!”

The Minimum Wage Determination Commission in North Cyprus convened to determine the second half of the 2022 minimum wage under the chairmanship of the Labour and Social Security Minister Hasan Taçoy.

Following the meeting, Minister Taçoy announced the new gross minimum wage as 9,885TL and net as 8,600TL.
Taçoy said that the commission will convene again in September.
The last minimum wage determined in January 2022 was set at an hourly rate of 40.38TL; a daily rate of 323.07TL, a weekly rate of 1,615.38TL and a monthly gross rate of 7,000TL.
