Air Traffic Control Union will hold strike at Ercan Airport

Air Traffic Control Union, Head of the Board of Directors Cem Kapısız has announced that a 23-hour strike will be held at Ercan Airport.
In a written statement Kapısız said that a 23-hour strike will be held at the Air Traffic Control Centre on Saturday 9 am, June 18th until – Sunday 8 am, June 19th.
The union criticized the incompetence of the government, low salaries, ineffectualness of public institutions, and the threat against freedom of work as the reason for the strike action.
