The General Directorate of the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has announced an increase in the electricity tariff by 56, 58 kuruş.
In a written statement by Kib-Tek General Directorate, the decision of the price hike was agreed upon by the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority Board of Directors and will be effective as of July 1st.
Under the Electricity Development Regulation, price adjustments should be made at least once every 2 months, according to the economic conditions, the statement said.
