The Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has announced that power cuts will be experienced in some areas today.
It reports that a 5-hour power cut will be experienced in the Güzelyurt region, European University of Lefke Agricultural Research Institute, the Veterinary Department, Department of Agriculture, Güzelyurt Akçay Road, Güzelyurt Bostancı Road, Akçay, Zümrütköy, a part of Yukarı Bostancı and Bostancı border between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm due to project work being carried out on the medium voltage electricity network.
A 7-hour power cut will also be experienced in 2nd company of the Cyprus Turkish Security forces in Gazimağusa, the greenhouses area on the southern part of Beşevler (4 miles) between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:30 pm today due to project work being carried out on the medium voltage electricity network.
