According to a police report, a substance believed to be cannabis weighing approximately 220 grams was detected following a police operation from the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team in Lefkoşa, yesterday at 11 am.
The individual who noticed the police raid threw the drugs out of the residence he was staying.
The drug believed to be cannabis was confiscated, the individual was arrested and a further investigation is continuing.
