It was reported that the fire that occurred in the Mersinlik Region yesterday is viciously spreading due to increased wind this morning.
3 helicopters, Police, the Fire Brigade, teams from the Civil Defense, Forestry Department, and military personnel along with construction equipment are battling the fire.
The fire is moving towards the north and south east direction.
Extinguishing efforts are continuing.
